Jarrah honey has one of the highest antioxidant levels in the world. These antioxidant chemicals like phenolic acids, flavonoids, carotenoids and ascorbic acid are the dominant pool found in Jarrah honey. These are beneficial as they may help protect against cellular damage and the development of chronic diseases. Jarrah honey’s dark amber colour reflects the contents of pigments with antioxidant properties.

The Jarrah Tree (Eucalyptus marginata) is native to Western Australia and grows in the rainforests stretching from Perth to the South West.
